Texas Atomic Iron Commission
Officially founded in 2007, the Texas Atomic Iron Commission is a collaborative organization that brings together universities, industry, students and artists. The commission provides members with opportunities with networking, exhibitions, pouring cast iron sculpture and the exchange of ideas. Participating institutions include Abilene Christian University, Baylor University, Keen Foundry, Lamar University, Tarrant County College Northwest Campus, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, Texas Woman’s University, The University of Dallas, and The University of Texas at Tyler.
The Texas Atomic Iron Commission has presented at numerous national conferences and symposia, as well as exhibiting sculpture at The Dishman Art Museum; Lamar University, The Martin Museum of Art; Baylor University, The East | West Galleries; Texas Woman’s University, The Nancy Fyfe Cardozier Gallery; The University of Texas of the Permian Basin, and Burris Hall Gallery; New Mexico Highlands University.
