Creating Hope Exhibition
K Space Contemporary, in partnership with Esperanza de Tejas, is pleased to present a new art education initiative called Creating Hope with Art. Creating Hope is an art education program to help people in the Coastal Bend heal from negative life events by learning to transform their emotions into artwork. Creating Hope focuses on ways to re-frame negative thoughts, promote gratitude, identify emotions, and practice mindfulness and self-care. In addition to learning art techniques, participants will take away skills that they can continue to practice independently and integrate into new ways of coping now and in the future. We can spark hope and create a healthy mindset through art!
Creating Hope with Art will culminate in an exhibition featuring works by participants at K Space Contemporary.
