Figure drawing takes practice, practice, practice!
So practice with a model at K Space Contemporary’s figure drawing sessions! Details are as follows:
Tuesdays, 5:15 to 7:30 p.m.
$12 each session or $50 for the month. Students $5. First time is FREE!
What to Bring: your own paper and drawing materials (charcoal, pencils, pastels, etc.) and a drawing board.
How: Just show up! Be on time, because the door is locked at 5:30 out of respect for the model. If the gallery is locked when you arrive, just wait. One of the organizers will arrive to open up.
We provide a live nude model (usually female, occasionally clothed/draped), easels, tables, chairs and the gallery space for drawing sessions. Drawing sessions are a cooperative effort to pay for a model and practice drawing the human figure. No instruction, just time to practice.
Participants often bring drinks and snacks to share. Tuesday Figure Drawing sessions are organized by Carolyn Young & Matt Peterson.
See you there!
