Basics of Crochet

Service Description

Taught by Amber Buhidar of Amber Rows Crochet. Ages 18+ I will teach how to hold a crochet hook, tension, chaining, single crochet, turning work, and many little of my “crochet secrets” along the way. This class is very beginner, so if you have never crocheted before or have a little knowledge of crochet, this class is for you! I can teach right and left-hand crochet. If you have some crochet experience and want to freshen up on your skills or want advice on a project you are working on, bring it! I’d love to see it! If you have the basics down and want me to teach a specific stitch or anything else crochet related, let me know! This class is for beginners but it’s also a meet you where you’re at type of class because everyone will progress at their own pace. I will provide a hook and yarn for each student to use during the class. It will be yours to take home so you can continue to crochet at home! About Amber: I am a self taught fiber artist. I have been crocheting for the past 9 years. I started with blankets and progressed to beanies and ear warmers. My happy place now is crocheting plushies. I sell my crochet items online and also locally at many vendor markets. I am a homeschool mama of four, and if I’m not crocheting I’m probably reading or enjoying the beach with my husband and kids!

You may cancel up to 7 days before the class with a full refund or option to reschedule. Less than 7 days but more than 48 hours before the class there will be no refunds and rescheduling will be subject to availability. Less than 48 hours before the class there will be no refunds or rescheduling available. If the class is canceled by the host for any reason, participants will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule for a future class. No-shows: No refunds or rescheduling options for no-shows. Rescheduling Policy: Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be requested at least 48 hours before the class start time. By registering for the class participants agree to the terms of this cancelation policy.
